Growing the Patchwork Network - Directions for 2016

In 2015 we achieved some great milestones for the Patchwork community.

After proving successful in the Central Coast, the Patchwork network became available statewide in November.

Since then, over 2,500 frontline workers have signed up and added their clients, and can now connect, collaborate and coordinate care for some of the state’s most vulnerable people.

But our journey is far from complete. This year we will continue to build the Patchwork network, to ensure every frontline worker in NSW can connect and collaborate.

Our new strategy will aim to maximise Patchwork’s benefit to clients, users and the broader community.

We will use our website to share Patchwork’s value with the community, and support our current users with news, resources and training material.

We will respond to our users’ needs, listen to feedback, and schedule system updates to create an even better product for frontline workers in NSW.

We will integrate Patchwork with ChildStory, which will be the new case management system for Child Protection in FACS.

This will simplify and enhance experience for practitioners in Child Protection. An independent Patchwork site will still exist for practitioners in different human services.

We look forward to working with NSW’s frontline workers in 2016, to strengthen the network that can easily connect and collaborate around a common client.
