Patchwork Comes To Fairfield

Patchwork Comes To Fairfield

In early August, Michael Coutts-Trotter, Secretary of the Department of Family & Community Services (FACS) announced that Patchwork will be made available across New South Wales.

In response to this exciting news, 29 Caseworkers from the Fairfield Community Services Center in South Western Sydney have joined Patchwork.

Patchwork, a ChildStory solution, is a smart, secure web app for better team collaboration around clients. It saves time and effort connecting caseworkers with other practitioners across agencies.

As well as the Fairfield caseworkers, partner NGOs continue to join Patchwork. Working together, FACS and the local NGOs will grow their network of support around clients on Patchwork to enable better early intervention and coordinated case planning.

Next Steps
Patchwork is already a success in six FACS districts, and we will continue to expand it throughout the state.

The expansion of Patchwork to Fairfield is part of an ongoing campaign to roll out Patchwork to every frontline worker in South Western Sydney.

By the end of the year, our frontline workers in Liverpool, Bankstown, Ingleburn, Bowral and Campbelltown will be using Patchwork.
