Last week the Sydney District Patchwork team met with Weave CEO Shane Brown to discuss Patchwork and the importance of collaboration and communication between FACS and our community partners.
Weave Youth & Community Services is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to helping disadvantaged young people, women, children and families reach their potential.
The Weave facility in Redfern/Waterloo has been an integral part of the local community for 38 years, and FACS funds a number of their programs.
The newly-recruited Sydney District Patchwork team comprising Vanessa Gonzalez and Adam O’Neill have been busy meeting with our community partners and agencies in the Sydney District to let them know about Patchwork and the positive impact it will have on the outcomes for our children and families.
After great success in the Central Coast, Murrumbidgee, Far West and Illawarra Shoalhaven, Patchwork is now being expanded across NSW.
Patchwork is free, secure and available to frontline workers in New South Wales. If you want to join the Patchwork community today, get in touch with our team here.
