After great success in the Central Coast, Murrumbidgee, Far West and Illawarra Shoalhaven, Patchwork is now being expanded across NSW.
Patchwork empowers us to do better work for children and young people, by increasing collaboration across agencies.
It’s a simple online tool that allows frontline practitioners to see, quickly and easily, who else is providing services to a child or young person. You can form a team around the person, and collaborate on which services are most important.
You can be trained on Patchwork in just 15 minutes.
Over the coming weeks, the ChildStory team will be in touch with all our colleagues across the state to discuss the implementation process, including timeframes.
The ChildStory team has already briefed the Secretaries of all Government Departments at the recent ICT Board meeting. Agencies are actively identifying collaborative programs Patchwork can support.
Additionally, we have been involved in specific briefings for the Department of Education & Communities (DEC), including their ‘Connected Communities’ initiative.
