The Patchwork team recently had the chance to give a presentation about Patchwork to New South Wales Minister for Family and Community Services Brad Hazzard. The team provided the Minister with an overview of the Patchwork initiative, while Subject Matter Expert Anthony Ives presented his project ‘Patchy’ – a patchwork doll who will be touring customer service centres around NSW in an effort to raise awareness of the importance of collaboration between services.
Experience shows that clients benefit when human service agencies connect and collaborate. Patchwork helps frontline workers to connect and work together to build better wraparound services for their clients.
So far, 558 NGOs, agencies and departments have joined Patchwork and are actively collaborating care around common clients in order to provide them with better outcomes.
